The difference between Socket Welding Flange and flat welding flange: socket welding flange is suitable for small diameter, high pressure and high temperature pipeline connection. Flat welding has a boss like butt welding, and a groove is opened on the boss, and then the pipe is inserted into it for welding. Socket welding means that there is no boss, and a groove is directly opened on the flange body, just like a hole is opened on the Blind Flange, and then a groove is opened. The welding performance of flat welding is slightly better than that of socket welding.
